As I said earlier, I felt stuck because heat & MS don't mix. Which leaves me in the house wishing that I was in a room without a roof.  In other words, I wanted to go outside to get some air & a little sun. I had the opportunity to go out and I enjoyed myself.  Oh, the heat wasn't to bad either. Point being is, I went shopping, well, window shopping 😄. While in the store looking at the clothes and noticing how people were dressed around me, I thought I need some new clothes or shorten it up a little bit. God Is

The thing about being diagnosed with MS; I don't have to go off of someone else's testimony. I know God for myself. I know that He's a Way maker. I know that He's a Shield.   I know that He's a Provider. I know that He's a Healer. I know He's a Protector. He is a Wonderful Counselor. I know that He is the Alpha & Omega. God is Good. God is Real. God is Love. God is my Light in this web of chronic disease of MS.   God is Able. God is my Father, my Friend, God is my Husband.   God is my Joy. God is my Strength. My God is my Today & Tomorrow.   God is a Promise Keeper; He never come short of His Word. God is my all and all! Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” Luke 18:27

It's Getting Hot In Here, AGAIN

Well, I'm stuck again and this hot, dry weather isn't helping. We are in a heat wave so all activities must be inside with AC & fans going. I'll miss a few family, friend functions but honestly its not worth it. It's so hot that sometimes I don't even want to think. It just takes too much energy. With a MS diagnoses, it is like being in a fight. The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” EXODUS 33:14

Not That much

I hàven’t blogged in a bit because I haven't had much to say. I haven't read much about MS worth sharing. Eating healthy is half of the battle with a MS diagnosis.  I discovered five important benefits in eating healthy:  Increase of cognitive behavior, sleep all night, mobility, lower A1C levels, increase energy. “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?   If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.”  1st Corinthians 3:16-17

Refreshing

I had a great time at lunch yesterday with a group of friends. I feel really blessed to be a part of a MS support group. There is a lot of wisdom in the room; along with good people.   It is an honor and privilege to talk to people that are traveling the same road that I'm on.   “Rise up; this matter is in your hands. We will support you, so take courage and do it.” Ezra 10:4  I was reading Healthline and 12 foods were listed for being high in vitamin B12. After looking at the list, my first thought was OMG.   I know I might have a deficiency because out of the items listed, I probably eat two things.   The foods are as follows: Organ meats, clams, sardines, beef, fortified cereal, tuna, fortified nutritional yeast, trout, salmon, fortified nondairy milk, eggs, milk & dairy products.                               BE BLESSED!

Change

I am so glad that God doesn’t change. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”- Hebrews 13:8. As people we might change our mind, have second thoughts and some may even lie but GOD will remain the same. “ God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” Numbers 23:19. In my words, there is none like Him. Jesus gives me strength & power daily. “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline” 2 nd Timothy1:7.  There is nobody like You Lord. Sunshine

A Note To My Husband:  I never knew love until I met God & then He introduced me to an extraordinary man.   A man that loves God more then he loves me and love me more then he loves himself.  In the beginning, I was unsure of what I was looking at.   It was like walking around with blinders on trying to find a peek of sunshine. Through my relationship with God and the studying of His Word, I learned, that man, my husband, caretaker was showing nothing but patience and adoration over 32 years.   T o be a caretaker of any one with a chronic disease must be a huge task. To be the husband of a woman that is diagnosed with MS, the task got to be even larger.   Sometime I don’t show it, but every day, I’m thankful.
