A WORD TO THE WISE!

I believe that prayer is a vital part of a successful marriage, because I invite Christ into my marriage to shape each of us as He desires.
It is not up to me to change and shape my husband, it is up to Christ, after all He knows so much better than I do.
I believe I can bring good to my husband through prayer.
Prayer
for his integrity, his strengths, his weaknesses, his walk, his work – for every aspect of His life.

Beautiful

As I said earlier, I felt stuck because heat & MS don't mix. Which leaves me in the house wishing that I was in a room without a roof.  In other words, I wanted to go outside to get some air & a little sun. I had the opportunity to go out and I enjoyed myself.  Oh, the heat wasn't to bad either. Point being is, I went shopping, well, window shopping 😄. While in the store looking at the clothes and noticing how people were dressed around me, I thought I need some new clothes or shorten it up a little bit. While I was thinking about new clothes, God said, Ruth,   " Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear but  let your adorning be  the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.   For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands."...

Love Has No Limits! AGAPE

I was looking at Pinterest and this quote about love caught my attention.   It really touched my heart because we all want to love and be loved.   Problem is, we don't all know what AGAPE LOVE is.   Do you know?  Life has taught me that love has many different emotional and mental states.   In life we can be loving or not. We all want to hear that four letter word because it makes us feel alive. Therapeutically in my relationship with Jesus, I learned in 1st John 4:8, " God is love". Love is part of His character and what He does is influenced by love.   In John 15:13, God says, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”   The question remains, do you see AGAPE LOVE in your life?   Do you show AGAPE LOVE to your friends & family “Let all that you do be done with love.”                 1st Corinthians 16:14

I Wanna Go

I long for 1 day to feel normal. I want to go walking  without support.  I want to go shopping. I want to go to the beach. I want to go to the park. I want to go on a trip. I want my house clean. I'm not complaining because I'm grateful for the grace that God has shown me "Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world." Philippians 2:14-15 I'm not sure what normalcy is but it has to be better than life with a MS diagnosis. My activity is becoming very limited. I stay medicated to alleviate the pain which allows me to move around more.

Can Not Lose

I was sitting with my husband trying to get his attention & I just happen to look up at his computer screen, it read a little something like; what do you think?   With God on our side, we can’t lose.   Immediately; Jesus brought two scriptures to my attention which were: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, [ neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,   neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8-38:39.  “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. Sunshine

A Note To My Husband:  I never knew love until I met God & then He introduced me to an extraordinary man.   A man that loves God more then he loves me and love me more then he loves himself.  In the beginning, I was unsure of what I was looking at.   It was like walking around with blinders on trying to find a peek of sunshine. Through my relationship with God and the studying of His Word, I learned, that man, my husband, caretaker was showing nothing but patience and adoration over 32 years.   T o be a caretaker of any one with a chronic disease must be a huge task. To be the husband of a woman that is diagnosed with MS, the task got to be even larger.   Sometime I don’t show it, but every day, I’m thankful. Those are some big shoes to fill because I don’t know if I could do the things you do as a caretaker.  You have altered your entire life to care for me daily. Joy

Remember when I told you that MS can & will walk over you?   Well, here I go again; feeling like I’ve been walk on, up one side & down the other.   In other words, I have been sick for about a week in a half.   I’m just starting to feel normal, whatever that is.   Today is the first day that I could get out of bed by myself.   Basically, according to my husband, it was like I was a paraplegic.   However, I decided that I’m not going to sit around feeling sorry for myself.   I’m not going to have a “whoa it’s me” moment.   I might be slower, I might have to do it a little different but I’m not going to succumb to MS.   I’m not going to be sad, depressed or none of that because I’m a child of THE MOST HIGH GOD! Refreshing

I had a great time at lunch yesterday with a group of friends. I feel really blessed to be a part of a MS support group. There is a lot of wisdom in the room; along with good people.   It is an honor and privilege to talk to people that are traveling the same road that I'm on.   “Rise up; this matter is in your hands. We will support you, so take courage and do it.” Ezra 10:4  I was reading Healthline and 12 foods were listed for being high in vitamin B12. After looking at the list, my first thought was OMG.   I know I might have a deficiency because out of the items listed, I probably eat two things.   The foods are as follows: Organ meats, clams, sardines, beef, fortified cereal, tuna, fortified nutritional yeast, trout, salmon, fortified nondairy milk, eggs, milk & dairy products.                               BE BLESSED!

I am a child of God (John 1:12)  “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” I am a friend of God (John 15:15) "I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business.
