Less Of Me...


MS has taught me many things and a few of them are:  Everyone has obstacles to overcome, I must be grateful, Thank God for the small triumphs. "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." 1st Thessalonians 5:16-18

Life is full of setbacks and turn arounds.  Life is like a piano, it all depends on how you play it.  However God said that if I keep my mind stayed on Him, He'll keep me in perfect peace.

After a few years of the MS diagnoses, I’m unable to write.   If I do write, it is illegible. MS has affected my hands. To have the ability to blog is truly a blessing. Lord, I can’t live without You. I can’t talk without You.   I can’t walk without You. The Gift of a Relationship Ruth and I have chosen to put our trust in Jesus not man. When people are faced with a life time of hardships, many will turn to religion, but religion is not the answer, a relationship with Jesus is. I believe that we must develop a relationship with our creator. Religion only gives us guidelines to live by, because religion in no more than rules and regulations to live by. A relationship on the other hand will occupy every part of your being. Relationships are intimate, up close and personal. An intimate relationship with Jesus is no differences from what we have with other closest friends and family members. The only difference is the way we get to know Jesus; through his word ( the Bible ). He already knows us: “ I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb, before you were born I set you apart ” Jeremiah 1:5 . In life people can and often do let us down, things change. Speak Now Forever Hold Your Peace

Being diagnosed with MS makes one reflect on life.   I’ve learned to thank God for the small triumphs.   I stop taking things for granted.   Case and point, three words came to my mind, red, purple & blue.   I thank God for speech.   Lord, I thank You! Red represents power and courage Purple is often associated with royalty          Blue represents loyalty Colors tel l a story . Words are not just sounds. Our words have real power. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue,” Proverbs 18:21. God spoke the world into existence by the power of His word. “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God,” Hebrews 11:3. Words do more than provide information. The power of our words can destroy or build up one’s spirit. “The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit” Proverbs 15:4. Change

I am so glad that God doesn’t change. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”- Hebrews 13:8. As people we might change our mind, have second thoughts and some may even lie but GOD will remain the same. “ God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” Numbers 23:19. In my words, there is none like Him. Jesus gives me strength & power daily. “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline” 2 nd Timothy1:7.  There is nobody like You Lord.
