I'm very fond of birds.  I have always seen birds as a sign of life. I have 3 parrots; 2 Love Birds and 1 African Grey.  The love birds are just that.  The female laid 6 eggs.  Every time I go into the room,  I try to peek in the cage and see how many eggs hatched. However I'm unable to see because the mother bird is protective; she sits on top of her babies to ensure their safety. The moment I saw the bird's reaction God brought to my attention Psalm 91:4 “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”

Beautiful

Today was a beautiful day, a little chilly but beautiful.   It seems like I have been in the house all winter.   Sensitivity to the temperature being hot or cold is another MS symptom.   In getting ready to go out, my husband put on a jacket.   It is spring so I put on a jacket too. My husband said, “No Ruth”, because of your sensitivity, put on a coat.   My response to him was:      I hate to say it, but he was right, I was freezing. Everybody want to feel good, but nobody want to say it. SEX!   I’m just saying what others won’t. That is a topic that my doctor has not discuss with me, yet. I wonder why when that is a MS symptom. I have an excellent doctor but somethings that man let me find out on my own. We all know that MS has a way of introducing itself. Prayer

I never want anyone to feel alone & misunderstood. Because of my passion to stand in the gap for those who won't or can't pray, I am a Prayer Warrior.  This isn't something I read or heard; I know personally the power of prayer..... Life can sometimes be difficult. I've learned to intercede and stand, believing that God can and will move on any situation. "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."  Matthew 18:20 “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”   Matthew 21:22 “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Ephesians 6:18

Ride With Me

Sometimes I get overwhelmed with the MS symptoms. At times, I am very forgetful.   I must write it down or otherwise I might forget. After a month, I remembered to return a call to a friend. Those types of things are becoming bothersome to me because I don’t want to appear stand offish. To be in my world, one must work with my strengths oppose to my weaknesses. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13. G et on the MS roller coaster and ride.That’s what it is like to have a love one or friend with MS. ONE BIG RIDE!   I must say, buckle up, make sure your seat belt is on because some days the ride might be bumpy. You must be strong to take this ride.   If there are any signs of weakness, well, the MS ride may not be for you. Remember, you can always get off at the next stop. Can Not Lose

I was sitting with my husband trying to get his attention & I just happen to look up at his computer screen, it read a little something like; what do you think?   With God on our side, we can’t lose.   Immediately; Jesus brought two scriptures to my attention which were: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, [ neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,   neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8-38:39.  “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. Beautiful

As I said earlier, I felt stuck because heat & MS don't mix. Which leaves me in the house wishing that I was in a room without a roof.  In other words, I wanted to go outside to get some air & a little sun. I had the opportunity to go out and I enjoyed myself.  Oh, the heat wasn't to bad either. Point being is, I went shopping, well, window shopping 😄. While in the store looking at the clothes and noticing how people were dressed around me, I thought I need some new clothes or shorten it up a little bit. While I was thinking about new clothes, God said, Ruth,   " Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear but  let your adorning be  the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.   For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands."...

I've been blogging for a while now and I feel like I've have been babbling on.  I read something that sums up what I've been trying to say which is: The only thing that I don't agree with is THIS IS NOT MY FIGHT.  The battle belongs to Jesus. “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. Good

Sitting here looking back over my life brings tears to my eyes to see God working in my life.   The Lord is good to me.   He went as far as giving His only Son .   “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”   John 3:16 Thank you, Jesus for waking me up this morning, putting food in my kitchen and clothes on my back. You are good to me.   I thank You for the good & bad times including MS because all of it is making, molding and shaping me into the woman that You created me to be. Lord, You are good to me. The Gift of a Relationship Ruth and I have chosen to put our trust in Jesus not man. When people are faced with a life time of hardships, many will turn to religion, but religion is not the answer, a relationship with Jesus is. I believe that we must develop a relationship with our creator. Religion only gives us guidelines to live by, because religion in no more than rules and regulations to live by. A relationship on the other hand will occupy every part of your being. Relationships are intimate, up close and personal. An intimate relationship with Jesus is no differences from what we have with other closest friends and family members. The only difference is the way we get to know Jesus; through his word ( the Bible ). He already knows us: “ I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb, before you were born I set you apart ” Jeremiah 1:5 . In life people can and often do let us down, things change.
