HOPE

There is hope for MS patients and others with a chronic disease because God said, "And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you." ... 1 Peter 5:10

As I said earlier, I felt stuck because heat & MS don't mix. Which leaves me in the house wishing that I was in a room without a roof.  In other words, I wanted to go outside to get some air & a little sun. I had the opportunity to go out and I enjoyed myself.  Oh, the heat wasn't to bad either. Point being is, I went shopping, well, window shopping 😄. While in the store looking at the clothes and noticing how people were dressed around me, I thought I need some new clothes or shorten it up a little bit. While I was thinking about new clothes, God said, Ruth,   " Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear but  let your adorning be  the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.   For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands."...

Help

I read Isaiah 41:13 today and I was blessed by what God said to me & I would like to share it with you. “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” With the heat, humidity outside today and the MS cold; these words take authority over the way I feel because I know that I have help and I do not have to fight this battle.   All I have to do is stand still because He says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10 BE BLESSED!

Don't Hesitate!

After receiving a small glimpse into the diversity of others diagnosed with MS; I realized one thing, MS does not discriminate.  The fury of MS can be unleashed on anybody; at anytime, no matter who you are or your walk in life. After analyzing it all, my first thought was WOW. I also thought about Mathew 5:45 where God says, “That you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.”

God Is

The thing about being diagnosed with MS; I don't have to go off of someone else's testimony. I know God for myself. I know that He's a Way maker. I know that He's a Shield.   I know that He's a Provider. I know that He's a Healer. I know He's a Protector. He is a Wonderful Counselor. I know that He is the Alpha & Omega. God is Good. God is Real. God is Love. God is my Light in this web of chronic disease of MS.   God is Able. God is my Father, my Friend, God is my Husband.   God is my Joy. God is my Strength. My God is my Today & Tomorrow.   God is a Promise Keeper; He never come short of His Word. God is my all and all! Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” Luke 18:27

It's Already Done!

This is a ministering moment.   A moment of encouragement.   I do a lot of that.   Whatever works for you; I suggest that you use it because MS can & will walk all over you.   I was sitting here mediating on the Word of God.   Not questioning Him, but wondering why me; MS & Tysabri invading my space.   I’m not questioning God because I know none of this could happen without going through God’s hands first.   If He allowed this to happen then He must have a plan cause I don’t have a clue. Outside of that, I could hear God say, you have to go through the fire but you won’t get burnt.   He said I won’t pull you out of the fire but I will get into it with you. Be Still!

One of the hardest things about being diagnosed with MS is learning to live with it.   Honestly, I don’t think I have learned.   I did learn that one of the first things that you must master is managing.   That is learn to manage time, energy, memory, limitations, space.   I probably forgot somethings but what I’m saying is, you start to look at people, places, and things differently. What use to be important now all of a sudden it is what it is. In other words, you start to put things in its perspective place. I can’t tell you what perspective is for you because when it comes to MS, it deals with each of us differently. I like to call it a personal disease. Pursue Peace!

I write as God gives it to me.   To the naked eye there is no rhyme or reason to it all.   Look with your spiritual eye.   My plan is to write about MS, experiencing it personally along with some of the daily challenges.   I guess that will come into play occasionally but today; He gave me this: I was listening to a pastor this morning and he said something very powerful.   He said in Ephesians 4:30 where God says, “ Do Not Grieve the Spirit ”.   We always refer that to something super natural, but when we miss treat our family, we are grieving the Holy Spirit.   We are grieving Him when we don’t speak to one another because the power of unity in the Holy Spirit cannot/will not flow unless we get rid of all the hypocrisy.   “ He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. Not That much

I hàven’t blogged in a bit because I haven't had much to say. I haven't read much about MS worth sharing. Eating healthy is half of the battle with a MS diagnosis.  I discovered five important benefits in eating healthy:  Increase of cognitive behavior, sleep all night, mobility, lower A1C levels, increase energy. “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?   If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.”  1st Corinthians 3:16-17

To bring you up where I am, I was diagnosed with MS in 2015.   I must say that there is a link between MS & depression.   Needless to say I was feeling some kind of way, but I’m so glad that I know Jesus.   I had to remind myself that God promises to keep me in perfect peace if I keep my mind stayed on Him.   “ You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.”   Isaiah 26:3.   With that being said, God brought to my mind several scriptures:   Psalm 125:1 “   Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.”   Isaiah 40:31   “   but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
