Beautiful

As I said earlier, I felt stuck because heat & MS don't mix. Which leaves me in the house wishing that I was in a room without a roof.  In other words, I wanted to go outside to get some air & a little sun. I had the opportunity to go out and I enjoyed myself.  Oh, the heat wasn't to bad either. Point being is, I went shopping, well, window shopping 😄. While in the store looking at the clothes and noticing how people were dressed around me, I thought I need some new clothes or shorten it up a little bit. Do You Hear What I Hear

Mu ch to my annoyance, I like my music up loud, my husband told me that I was noisy. Lately, my tolerance level is low for loud sounds. It is too much. Today as I was reading Very Well Health , I noticed information about hearing and MS. The article is one of those things that make you go MMM. Being of age can have something to do with aggravation to loud sounds. Consequently, Very Well Health states that sensitivity to loud sounds can become m ore prominent in MS patients. I got one question.   Is there any part of the body that MS doesn’t try to invade?   I’m a very private person and for me to share space with MS, well, it’s just too much. “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”.   Romans 10:17

Where Did It Come From?

As I said before, there is no rhyme or reasoning to my blogging.   None of this is in chronical order.   I write as it is on my mind. When the doctor first diagnosed MS, while waiting for test results; he said something to the effect of if I don’t have it; he might as well retire. I thought 4 things:   (1) well, you idiot, you better go ahead home cause I DO NOT HAVE MS! (2) How will I manage it all? (3) How will it affect my husband? (4) God, what are You saying?   I was afraid.   Afraid of the unknown. Isaiah 43:1 “B ut now, this is what the Lord says—he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.” Traveling through this journey, the only comfort that I have is knowing that God; created me, redeemed me, knows my name, is with me.   Otherwise I would have thrown up my hands & given up by now.   Oh, after three years, I still don’t know what God is tr...

Can Not Lose

I was sitting with my husband trying to get his attention & I just happen to look up at his computer screen, it read a little something like; what do you think?   With God on our side, we can’t lose.   Immediately; Jesus brought two scriptures to my attention which were: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, [ neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,   neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8-38:39.  “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord , And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord .   Isaiah 54:17.  The part that stuck out was “No weapon”.  In my words, the weapon might form, but it won’t work. Not My Battle

I've been blogging for a while now and I feel like I've have been babbling on.  I read something that sums up what I've been trying to say which is: The only thing that I don't agree with is THIS IS NOT MY FIGHT.  The battle belongs to Jesus. “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. A WORD TO THE WISE!

I believe that prayer is a vital part of a successful marriage, because I invite Christ into my marriage to shape each of us as He desires. It is not up to me to change and shape my husband, it is up to Christ, after all He knows so much better than I do. I believe I can bring good to my husband through prayer. Prayer for his integrity, his strengths, his weaknesses, his walk, his work – for every aspect of His life.

Sunday Strength

To bring you up where I am, I was diagnosed with MS in 2015.   I must say that there is a link between MS & depression.   Needless to say I was feeling some kind of way, but I’m so glad that I know Jesus.   I had to remind myself that God promises to keep me in perfect peace if I keep my mind stayed on Him.   “ You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.”   Isaiah 26:3.   With that being said, God brought to my mind several scriptures:   Psalm 125:1 “   Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.”   Isaiah 40:31   “   but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
