MS Talk through the eyes of a believer!

                                       

I have a childhood friend and with the good, bad & ugly in life she is always there for me. Point being, I had a short stay in the hospital & when I was released, I text her to thank her for her generosity. I received a response from her that really lifted my spirits. In respecting her privacy, I'll share some of what was said without using her name. Hey Ruth no need to thank me for anything. What I know  and dont take for granted is we are Friends & Sister till the end. Yes we get lost in time and in our everyday lives but I will ALWAYS be  there for you. Im only a phone call or text away. Dont ever forget that.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7- God also said, "My Joy I give you. Live in it. Bathe your Spirit in it. Dry your eyes and walk in it............

I read this poem but the author is unknown. I want to say THANK YOU. I want to give credit where it's due. However; I read the poem and made it unique to me. I asked for strength and God gave me difficulties I asked for wisdom and God gave me problems to solve I asked for discernment and God gave me insight I asked for patience and God allowed situations to come where I'm forced to wait. I asked for intercession and God sent troubled people my way Lord, I'm thanking you in advance for teaching me to say the right WORDS at the right TIME in the right TONE to the right PEOPLE. James 3:10 " With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be."

I believe that prayer is a vital part of a successful marriage, because I invite Christ into my marriage to shape each of us as He desires. It is not up to me to change and shape my husband, it is up to Christ, after all He knows so much better than I do. I believe I can bring good to my husband through prayer. Prayer for his integrity, his strengths, his weaknesses, his walk, his work – for every aspect of His life.

" Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight." 1st Peter 3:3-4

LISTEN UP:   “Broken things can be fixed”.   I am a living witness that God can and will “restore”. “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust,”   Joel 2:25 To avoid any misunderstanding, I say broken things can be fixed, spiritually.   Naturally, somethings are unrepairable.   I was talking to a lady and she all but said; no Ruth, everything CAN NOT be fixed. My response to her was YES IT CAN because there is nothing too hard for my God. “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” Jeremiah 32:27 But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” Luke 18:27 If God threw away everything broken; where would I be?   My real question is, who wants something that is broken or damaged?

My prayer today is, Lord help me to love everybody! "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love ." 1st John 4:7-8 "God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them." 1st John 4:16
